At Nellis Air Force Base we had the honor of playing for our troops and the sheer joy of getting to climb around on old retired tanks!!! We all instantly turned into 12 year olds…it was awesome!!!! We also got to meet some of the Helo Rescue squad…these guys fly behind enemy lines not only to rescue our boys, but any one on our side fighting global terrorism. Not only was it an honor to spend a few minutes with them , but it was a breath of fresh air to hear from the horses mouth and not the media.

These guys miss home, but know that this is a war worth fighting, and want to finish the job they started. Not sure what side of it all everyone lands on, but it’s great to hear that our boys aren’t backing down and are still willing to put themselves in harms way for not only our freedom, but also for the freedom of everyone!

So we’re on our way to a show and we stop in Oklahoma for a quick bite. I get off the bus and what do I see. A beautiful rainbow! You know the saying…. “There’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” So my question is which end of the rainbow. I think I might’ve solved the age old question to that. I’d have to go to the right. Then again there’s a salad bar to the left…. Hmmmmm. Life’s choices.
