So tonight Portland was so awesome, we decided to do a little something special. The first ever MercyMe Choreographed stage moves for our song “Move”. That’s right. Portland, you guys bring out the best in us, and tonight our best was a few spectacular dance moves.
Thanks for being so amazing tonight Portland. You’re one of our favorite places to come and tonight you proved why.
Every night during “Alright” in our set the rest of the tour knows that it’s time to dance. Because tonight was the last night of the tour that means there needed to be some serious dancing that went down. Here’s a quick little video of the entire tour breaking it down with us in Memphis.
Thanks to everyone who made this a memorable tour. We had a blast with all the bands that were out here, and with everyone who came out to spend their time with us. We’ve got a lot more coming your way including The Rock & Worship Roadshow 2012 and also the very first Rock & Worship Boatshow. Keep an eye on the website for more details.
We had a blast tonight in Wichita. Look at these dancers. Especially the guy in the white shirt. Yeah, you see him. Talk about gettin down. We loved spending the night with you guys. Thanks for making Wichita one of the best nights of the tour. You’re going to be hard to beat.
Most of you probably already have heard our new single “Move”, but we talked it over and decided that we want to see your moves. So here’s how it’s going to work. Whether you are on Twitter of Facebook we want to see a video of you/your kids/ your pets/ your grandma dancing to the song “Move”.
If you’re on Twitter just @ message @MercyMe and we’ll check them out. If you’re on Facebook, upload the video and tag the MercyMe Facebook page. So we can check it out there. The best videos we will either ReTweet or post right here on the website. There may be even a special prize for amazing choreography so make it awesome.
Well, the Lovewell Live 2011 Tour is officially over. We had an absolute blast with Natalie and Brandon. Thanks to everyone who came out to see the show and those that followed this thing online.
Here’s a clip of from tonight’s show. Every night we had a special treat on the side of the stage. Our video guy Jeff would dance so we were the only one’s that could see him. Tonight we had the chance to video this magical moment in the night. We hope you enjoy.
Thanks again. We’ll do it again sometime real soon!
Hello all you big SLOBs out there! Well I am at home enjoying time with my family, so here is an old one, but a good one…I guess it’s a good one. I used to do these podcasts which I so brilliantly called “BartCasts” but I am not sure if anybody ever watched them, so if I can find them all, I will let you folks check’em out . This video was made during rehearsals of the “Coming Up To Breathe” tour, and it just goes to show that we have always been major goofballs just waiting for this blog…oops I mean SLOB to come along. A match made in heaven!
