Every time we do meet and greets or an autograph session, we always get people saying we look like someone else. We don’t really see it, but we get the same people over and over. So we thought we would let you be the judge.

Hey - totally off topic. I just found this on Way FM’s website. They are a Christian radio station in south FL for those of you who don’t know. Anyway - there was some wack job who started shooting people at Wendy’s in West Palm Beach not too long ago.
Lookie at what someone wrote about how your song “God with Us” has become majorly meaningful — even more than it was already.

The Mercy Me song ’God with Us’ has greater meaning to me today after what I experienced on March 4, 2008. You see I was at Wendy’s yesterday when the shooting took place. I was taking my lunch break from work and just happened to be in the right place at the right time for God to use me. There are a lot of details, but I will share only a few. I pulled into a parking space beside the south side door to the restaurant and was making my way to the entrance when I heard a popping sound from inside the store. I was less than 20 feet from the entrance when several customers came running out yelling, “He’s got a gun and shooting people.” At first, I thought about running, but something said stay, so I began screaming to other customers in the parking lot to get across the street to safety. Mrs. Vasquez and her little boy came around the building and she was about to go in shock so I assisted her to a safe place and began trying to calm her down as she wanted to go back into the store to find her husband. Another lady who had been shot in the arm, I helped as well. I guess overall I just tried to get everyone calmed down and help the injured until EMT’s arrived. After the fact, I can truly say that God was with me and kept me from entering that store. I thank God and would like to thank WAY-FM for playing songs that truly touch the heart in ways that secular music can’t touch!

I really shouldn’t have looked at those photos with a bite of cereal in my mouth, as now I must clean little bits of “Morning Glory” off my LCD monitor.
This was hilarious. And I most see the resemblences between Robby and Mr. T. Also, isn’t Fred Durst short?

Nathan and Mike yes, all the others, NO, not really. How funny is that. People tell me all the time that they know someone that looks like me. We must all have look a likes.

Truly, I laughed until I cried. Never thought of the connections before, but some of them really do match. I especially loved Robby/Mr. T and Barrie/Howie Mandel.

I say yes to Mike, Barry and Nathan but no to the others. Its funny that you did this because there is a local commercial that airs occasionally and my son always says the guy looks just like Bart. There is a resemblence, I’ll see if I can find a picture or link of him and I’ll post it.
My son has been told he looks like Neil Patrick Harris and I’ve been told that I look like Linda Blair but I don’t think I do.

I think you look a lot like Toby Keith, especially in the Stayin’ Alive (Cover Tune Grab Bag) video. I’ve seen a pic of Toby Keith in a hat like yours and with the scruffy beard…very similar.
Our family loves your music. Reading your blog gives us an insight into what it is like for you and your family. We have watched a few of the videos you’ve posted on You Tube. I can SOOO see Charlie following in your footsteps. God bless you and your family and the entire MercyMe crew.
