What an absolutely joy it was to participate in what was not a concert, but was an honest to God, heartfelt WORSHIP session!! The music, the message, the hearts opened, and everyone unashamedly worshipping the King!

    Simply amazing!

The concert was amazing. You are all a blessing to us. I have felt for a long time I am losing my 11 year old son to the world and last night he connect with Hawk Nelson. We went today and bought a cd and he bought a hoodie last night. Thank you so much for pour Gods spirit into our city.

    Hi- Love your music!

My freind and I couldn’t wait to get to the concert.

Went through hoops to get a babysitter last night, got ready for hours.

Tried to buy tickets like regular events in Dallas through “ticket master” weeks ago. They said only sold at the door? Never heard of that.

Oh well, show up for a ticket and sold out??????
    People waiting since 8am?

I have to work and have a familly. Not able to do that.

Really bummed about the whole thing.

I have to say something that I really hate to say, because I love your music so much:

My group and I were allowed in the door last night, only to find no seats available and were asked to leave. We did get our money back. I guess what I’m saying is: it’s great that you want to charge just 10 dollars for a concert. But it makes no sense to not sell tickets ahead of time, for a SPECIFIC seat. TONS of people either got in last night and were forced to leave, or didn’t get in the door at all. Wasted people’s times, since we just assumed that there would be room. They weren’t even counting people at the door.

All that to say: great idea to charge so little: terrible idea to not sell tickets. I’ll definitely not every try this again.

    Nathan….

Sorry to hear that your group couldn’t get in. Wish we could have fit everyone in that had to be turned away. The reason we don’t sell advanced tickets for this tour is because the $10 ticket would become a $20 ticket with all the taxes, ticketmaster fees, etc. Our intention was to keep the ticket price rock bottom. Again…so sorry that you guys were turned away….we had NO IDEA so many would show up in dallas either. Maybe next year you guys will be able to get in…I hope so.

Hubby and I didn’t make it there until right at 7. Didn’t get super seats, but we were still to the side of the stage, and the whole section top to bottom behind the stage was still empty when we sat down at around 7:30. I think the $10 tickets are super…we probably wouldn’t have come if they had been more. Not sure what time you guys got there, but I’d think maybe next year if you tried even just a half hour earlier, you’d be likely to get seats.

On to the show: Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Your heart for the Lord is obvious and was so meaningful to me and my husband. We were truly touched by your music and your words. Bart, what you said to the pastors in the room…my husband was one of them, and your words opened my eyes to his daily burdens in a way I had never seen before…He has to “be Jesus” 24 hours a day. It was as if God was speaking directly to us through you because the very next crowd you addressed were the parents…”being Jesus” to our children 24 hours a day. The very thing that I have been pouring out my heart to the Lord about specifically for a week now…showing my children Who God is through my every word and action. Thank you for allowing God to speak through you…even if it was just to me. I needed to hear your words…It was as if God was reassuring His answer to my prayers at that moment.

    Thank you for your ministry.

AWESOME concert in Dallas. Thanks for the $10 ticket. It allowed students the opportunity to get in when otherwise they would not be able. Did not see the final count, the upper section still had empty seats, I can’t imagine anyone turned away. Loved your ‘Here come the Son.’

    Dear Mercy Me,

That was a wonderful tribute to our Lord Jesus Christ. I waited 1-1/2 hrs. for the doors to open and it was well worth it. Loved the $10.00 tickets, was my first time to see you live. What heart felt worship from you guys. Will definitely do that again. Loved it. Would like to see you live again, and would pay more than $10.00 also.

    Thank you so much!

Sorry to hear people did not get in. :( We drove from Austin, got there at 6:30 and got in – no problem. I think the thing to do is when there is something like this, low cost, you have to GET THERE EARLY!!! I don’t think anyone expected a sell-out crowd. This show is too awesome to miss. Give it another try next year. God Bless all the performers and fans too!!!

  • Reba

I was SO SICK… I should have stayed home but I wasn’t going to miss it for anything. I had waited a year! I missed the 2009 show and had planned in advance for 2010. When the opportunity came up to buy donor passes we grabbed it. We were in early, picked our seats and ready before the doors opened. We ended up on the floor, center section, 7th row back, just under the screen. Awesome seats. I took a vacation day to be there and it was worth it! I was in a lot of pain and very ill but wasn’t leaving until it was over! Thank you to all the performers, the fans, the folks sitting near us who were understanding and kind, and to God who showed up to hear us worship Him!
